Why not ask him? Is John “No Surrender” McCain an Orangeman?

The Sen McCain-Rev Hagee flap keeps on growing.

See our first discussion of it here

So, isn’t time to ask? Is John McCain a member of the Orange Order?

The Orange Order is best known for the obnoxious triumphalism they injected into Northern Ireland politics for centuries. Their rabid anti-Catholicism, with it’s Pope as Anti-Christ theology, was an important feature of British Imperial Ideology for decades.

Not quite a “secret” society (like Masons), the Orange order was dedicated to the ascendancy of Anglo-Protestantism over the whole world. Though their ambitions were more local than, say, the British-Israel World Federation, they still saw themselves as a Chosen people whose aim was to keep the aborigines in their place. (Of course, in Ireland the “aborigines” were, in fact, the Irish Catholics.)

The Orange Order in America is said to be paltry compared to it’s presence in Canada, but we forget that our very own Ku Klux Klan was largely based on the Orange Order – a vigilante group determined to keep the inferior races in their place. For a long time Catholics, Jews, and Negroes were the groups most needing attention.

What we see in Rev Hagee is a direct extension of that bizarre Imperial ideology. Rapturism itself derives from the teaching of long time Military chaplain, Bishop Darby who came up with the scheme sometime in the 1830s. (yes, if anything is a “cult system” it’s the premillennial dispensationalism of the Rev Hagee)

The Orange Order has always had many military men in it. Sen John McCain comes from a long line of military men.

This year he changed the vaunted Straight-Talk Express to the No Surrender Tour.

“No Surrender” is the signal cry of the Orange Order. (Anyone remember the antics of Rev Ian Paisley throughout the last five decades?)

Okay, let’s ask John McCain. Is he a member of the Orange Order?

The Anglo-Protestant Ascendancy propogated by the Orange Order is pernicious. It is the fundational premise of American White Supremacy, the Christian Identity movement and the Aryan Brotherhood.

McCain the Orangeman

Could this really be the next leader of the free world?

[…] Right after, the Rev Hagee endorsement, I wondered if, in fact, Sir John, er Sen. John “No Surrender” McCain might not himself be an orangemen? […]
