Why I support Hillary Clinton

From RickyD, Brooklyn, NY

I do not support Sen Clinton because she is charismatic, internationally admired or a woman, though she is unquestionably all of those things.

My endorsement of Sen Clinton is for much more mundane qualifications, but they are the ones I am the keenest to see in the next Chief Executive of the United States.

- I want a President who gets up in the morning to review upcoming legislation, current reports, world financials as well as any host of matters arising as opposed to jogging, bike-riding or watching the sports headlines.
- I want a President whose constituents include all Americans, not just frat brothers or country club colleagues.
- I want a President who can stand on the world stage and speak in complete sentences.
- I want a President with the status to be a convincing world leader.
- I want a President who knows the details of domestic policy and has the network in congress to get legislation passed.

For all those reasons, and many more, Senator Hillary Clinton is clearly the best qualified candidate for the general election. I am confident she will win the nomination and then go on to become the 44th President of the United States of America.
