South Carolina and Nevada (and a joke or two)

Big day for the Republicans in South Carolina – everyone says the McCain Surge is now unstoppable, but my money is still on Huckabee.

Nevada still looks like a toss-up for everyone involved (both Republicans and Democrats) Even the hot shot pundits can’t decide whether it will be Sen Clinton or Sen Obama, though nearly all expect Sen Edwards to run a distant third.

Contrarian as ever, I suspect Sen Edwards will do better than anticipated and that the triangulation between the top three contenders will continue.

I see that the Edwards-Clinton-Obama troika are now being called “The Mod Squad” which, anyone old enough to remember this awkwardly “hip” ‘70s TV show will admit, is pretty funny.

Funnier still is this new video at Blimp TV. NEW BUSH COINS

I often argue that truth is bi-partisan. The same may not be true of laughter. Despite the fact that the above almost definitely has a “liberal bias” it is well done and wickedly funny just the same.
