It’s convenient, isn’t it, when those damn eco-terrorists - out of nowhere - decide to burn a suite of eco-friendly luxury homes.

We know that it had to be these terrorists because - well - they left a sign. (No need for forensic evidence here.) Time was terrorists used to have kill or injure people to earn the label of terrorist. Fortunately, we have finally extended our sense of this heinous crime to include poor, defenseless empty buildings

The three houses that were destroyed were part of a set of five top-dollar homes which, despite being on the market since July, had not yet found any buyers. Understandable, I suppose, given the dire state of the housing market. The developer estimated the value of the destruction at $7 million.

I, too, wonder when these terrible eco-terrorsts will stop their ceaseless destruction of innocent property. Even though I can’t think of any similar cases I’m sure there must be thousands.

All I can say is thank God the development was insured. Right?
